Sunlight Sensor Test: Test

How to use this manual .

NOTE:

Before testing the sensor, check for climate control DTCs .
A 5P connector type automatic lighting control unit-sensor cannot be tested. Therefore, if no DTC is indicated, the sunlight sensor is normal.

Preconditions

Procedure/Specifications

1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

2. Measure the voltage between terminals according to the table with the connector connected. (Figure 1 and 2)

NOTE: The voltage readings will not change under the light of a flashlight or a fluorescent lamp.

Result
- If the result is not as specified, replace the sunlight sensor.
