   Removal 

   1. Pull away the front door weatherstrip (a) and remove the clip. (Figure 1)

   2. Remove the screw. (Figure 1)

   3. Pull out the edge of the front door outer molding (b) from the edge of the sash, and cut the double-sided adhesive tape (c) with a utility knife, then remove the front door outer molding from the sash. (Figure 2)

   Removal 

   1. Pull away the front door weatherstrip (a) and remove the clip. (Figure 1)

   2. Remove the screw. (Figure 1)

   3. Pull out the upper edge of the front door sash outer trim (b) from the edge of the front door sash, and cut the double-sided adhesive tapes (c) with a utility knife, then remove the front door sash outer trim from the front door sash. (Figure 1)

   NOTE:

   Pull the front door outer molding (d) only as needed to remove the upper edge of the front door sash outer trim. Excessive pulling will cause the molding to get damaged resulting in replacement. (Figure 1)

   4. Rub off the remaining double-sided adhesive tapes from the front door sash outer trim and the front door sash, then clean the front door sash outer trim surfaces and the front door sash surfaces with a sponge dampened with isopropyl alcohol. After cleaning, keep oil, grease, and water from getting on the clean surface.
