12 Volt Battery Inspection
Test Procedure
- Procedure

- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- Confirm the HDS [BATTERY VOLTAGE] value.
- Normal Conditions
-
- -
HDS [BATTERY VOLTAGE] value is less than 16.5 V .
- -
Results
- If it is abnormal, check the 12 volt battery - Refer to: 12 Volt Battery Internal Resistance Reset or 12 Volt Battery Test , and check for fuel and emissions system - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems(2.0L Engine) or How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems(3.0L Engine) .
- If it is normal, there is a problem with the VSA modulator-control unit.
