Inspection Outline
- The components to be tested are indicated by a dotted line.
- Troubleshoot any DTCs listed or indicated systems below first.

- Keyless Access System [Keyless Access Control Unit], [Backup Control Unit], [Power Control Unit]: Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting .
NOTE:
For more efficient troubleshooting, you may be able to eliminate some inspection items as potential failures based on the conditions of the failure and vehicle.
- Select HISTORY DATA from the KEYLESS ACCESS CONTROL UNIT mode menu with the HDS.
- Select HISTORY CLEAR, and back to TEST MODE MENU.
- Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- Touch the engine start/stop switch with the keyless remote. The buttons on the keyless remote should be facing you.
- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- Select HISTORY DATA from the KEYLESS ACCESS CONTROL UNIT mode menu with the HDS.
- Do the HDS [ENGINE START/STOP SWITCH 1 (+)], [ENGINE START/STOP SWITCH 2 (-)].
