TPMS Symptom Troubleshooting Index

Symptom  Diagnostic procedure  Also check for

Low tire pressure/TPMS indicator does not come on Symptom Troubleshooting .  
Low tire pressure/TPMS indicator does not go off, and no DTCs are stored
NOTE: If any of the CAN communication failure DTC is indicated in other system, troubleshooting the DTC first.
  • Check for open wire or shorted wire in the F-CAN circuit;
    • Between the gauge control module and the CAN gateway (IF-CAN_H, IF-CAN_L)
    • Between the body control module and the CAN gateway (BF-CAN_H, BF-CAN_L)
  • Check the body control module power circuit (+B_BACK_UP, +B_SMART, IG1_FUEL_PUMP)
  • Check the body control module ground circuit (PGND, SGND, GND)
  • Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function .
