USB Device Inspection
Preparation
- Connect the known-good USB device to USB port A located on the center console.
Test Procedure
- Check if the USB device work properly on the customer's vehicle
Results
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with other related components.
- If it is normal, there is a problem with the customer's USB device.
Infotainment Control Unit Inspection
NOTE:
Since there is no direct method to test the inspection item, troubleshooting is performed using a known-good component.
Test Procedure
- Install a known-good infotainment control unit and attempt to reproduce the failure.
Results
- If the failure is reproduced, there is a problem with other related components.
- If the symptom/DTC goes away, the infotainment control unit must be faulty.
USB Main Harness/USB Subharness Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining USB main harness/USB subharness is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the USB main harness/USB subharness.
