Confirmation Procedure

1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

2. Check and record the HDS [ ATF Temperature ] and [ ECT Sensor 2 ] values.

3. Start the engine, and warm it up to normal operating temperature (the radiator fan comes on twice).

4. Check and record the HDS [ ATF Temperature ] and [ ECT Sensor 2 ] values.

5. If there is a difference between the HDS [ ATF Temperature ] and [ ECT Sensor 2 ] values, the failure is duplicated.
