Confirmation Procedure

1. Hold the engine speed at 3000 RPM without load (in P or N) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle for 2 minutes.

2. Confirm and record the HDS [ ECT Sensor 1 ] value, then turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

3. Open the hood, and let the engine cool for 3 hours.

4. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and confirm the HDS [ ECT Sensor 1 ].
