IAT Sensor 1 Inspection
NOTE:
Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.
Test Procedure
PCM output voltage inspection
- Preparation
- MAF sensor/IAT sensor 1 connector 4P : disconnected
- Procedure
- Jump MAF sensor/IAT sensor 1 connector 4P terminals No. 2 and No. 4 with a jumper wire.
- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- Confirm the HDS [ IAT Sensor (1) Voltage ].
(Disconnected)
MAF sensor/IAT sensor 1 connector 4P female terminals
- Normal Conditions
- HDS [ IAT Sensor (1) Voltage ] value is less than 4.92 V .
Results
- If it is normal, there is a problem with IAT sensor 1.
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the related components.
