PCM Update: Procedure

How to use this Service Information .

1. PCM - Update

   ■ Preconditions 

   • Engine Cooled Down
   NOTE: High temperatures in the engine compartment might cause the PCM to become too hot to run the update. If the engine has been running before this procedure, open the hood and cool the engine compartment.

   ■ Procedure 

   • Update the PCM.
   NOTE: When updating control units, use the most current version of the HDS software and interface device. Check any official service information website for more information about updating control units.

   ■ After Updating 

   1. PCM Idle Learning 

   2. CKP Pattern Clearing/Learning
