Cross Traffic Monitor (CTM) System Control Regulation
When driving in reverse, the blind spot information radar unit monitors any vehicles approaching from behind your vehicle. When detecting any vehicle approaching from the behind, the unit sends the information to the multi view camera unit via B-CAN line. When receiving the information, the multi view camera unit gives the warning to the driver by displaying "<<" (a warning arrow) on the audio & navigation display and setting an alarm buzzer off. A warning message indicates left, right or both. The multi view camera unit gives a warning depending on a position, speed of the target vehicle in the detection range and the time remaining to the collision.
