Shift Lock Unit: Removal

  1. Center Console - Remove

    Remove the center console .

  2. Shift Lock Release/Shift Lock Release Bracket - Move

    Move the shift lock release/shift lock release bracket assembly (A) up by expanding the lock tabs (B).

  3. Shift Lock Unit - Remove

    		 1. Disconnect these connectors:
    • Shift lock solenoid connector (A)
    • Shift lever connector (B)

    		 2. Release the lock tab (A) and turn the pivot pin (B) counterclockwise using a hex wrench (C) as shown, and pull it.

    3. Remove the shift lock unit (D) while releasing four lock tabs (E).
