Transfer Assembly Fluid Replacement (2013-18): Replacement

Engine - Warm Up

1. Start the engine. Hold the engine speed at 3, 000 rpm without load (in P or N) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.

Transfer Assembly Fluid - Drain

1. Remove the drain plug (A)

2. Drain the transfer fluid

3. Reinstall the drain plug using a new sealing washer (B).

Transfer Assembly Fluid - Refill

1. Remove the filler plug (A)

2. Refill the transfer assembly with the recommended fluid through the filler hole (B) until the fluid flows out. Use an Acura HGO-1.

Transfer Assembly Fluid Capacity:
	0.41 L (0.43 US qt) at fluid change
	0.45 L (0.48 US qt) at overhaul

3. Reinstall the filler plug using a new sealing washer (C).
