Driving Pattern
- With a completely cooled engine (one that has been off for at least 6 hours).
- Start the engine, and let it idle for at least 30 minutes or drive for at least 3 miles (5 km).
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode for 10 seconds, then restart the engine and let it idle for at least 10 seconds.
- With a partially cooled engine (one that has been off for less than 6 hours).
- Start the engine, and let it idle for at least 30 minutes or drive for at least 3 miles (5 km).
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode for 3 hours, then restart the engine and let it idle for at least 10 seconds.
- Drive the vehicle in this manner only if the traffic regulations and ambient conditions allow.
