DTC B12A1: Power Control Unit Internal (CPU) Error
NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B- CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING - B- CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Do the battery terminal disconnect procedure (see BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION AND RECONNECTION ).
- Wait for at least 10 seconds to clear the DTCs.
- Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure (see BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION AND RECONNECTION ).
- Press and hold the engine start/stop button.
- Wait for at least 10 seconds.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B12A1 indicated?
YES - Replace the power control unit (see CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST ).
NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
