Power Mirror Actuator Test

Remove the door panel (see FRONT DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Disconnect the 16P connector (A) from the door harness (B).

At the 16P connector, check the actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table.

If the mirror fails to work properly, check for an open in the wire between the connector and the mirror holder. If the wire is OK, replace the mirror actuator (see POWER MIRROR ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT ).
Defogger Test
Check for continuity between terminals No. 11 and No. 12 of the 16P connector. There should be continuity.
If there is no continuity, check for an open in the wire between the connector and the mirror holder. If the wire is OK, replace the mirror holder (see POWER MIRROR REPLACEMENT ).
