DTC B1601: Keyless Access ECU CPU Error; DTC B1602: Keyless Access ECU EEPROM Error
NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see
TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure (see BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION AND RECONNECTION ).
- Wait for at least 10 seconds to clear the DTCs.
- Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure (see RECONNECTION ).
- Touch the door outer handle switch to lock the door.
- Touch the door outer handle switch to unlock the door.
- Connect the HDS to the data link connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1601 and/or B1602 indicated?
YES -Replace the keyless access control unit (see KEYLESS ACCESS CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST/REPLACEMENT ).
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
