Front Engine Mount Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the splash shield (see FRONT SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT ) and the engine undercover (see ENGINE UNDERCOVER REPLACEMENT ).
  2. Remove the radiator fan shroud assembly (see FAN, FAN MOTOR, AND SHROUD REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
  3. Remove the front engine mount stop (A), then remove the front engine mount bolt (B).

  4. Remove the front engine mount mounting bolts (A).

  5. Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the engine/transmission.
  6. Remove the front engine mount (B), then disconnect the vacuum hose (C).
