Center Console Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required 

KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

NOTE:
  • Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
  • Take care not to scratch the front seat, the dashboard, or the related parts.
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  1. Detach the clips by pulling up the center console panel (A). Disconnect the seat heater switch connectors, or the seat ventilation switch connectors (B), and the front accessory power socket connector (C).

  2. Remove the center console trim (A).
    1. Open the console armrest.
    2. Open the beverage holder lid (B), pull up the front portion of the trim by hand to detach the clips, and release the hooks (C), then remove the trim.

  3. Pull up the beverage holder (A) by hand to detach the clips (B, C), then remove the holder.

  4. Remove the accessory trim (A).
    1. Remove the console box mat (B).
    2. Remove the screws, and release the hooks (C), then remove the trim.
    3. Disconnect the rear accessory power socket connector (D), the auxiliary jack connector (E), the glove box light connector (F), and the USB port connector (G).

  5. Detach the clips by pulling out the driver's front console cover (A) and the passenger's front console cover (B), and pull them backward to release their pins (C) from the heater unit, then remove them.

  6. Remove the center console (A)
    1. Disconnect the console subharness connector (B), and detach it from the vent duct.
    2. Remove the bolts (C, D).
    3. Pull out the console backward, then remove it.
    NOTE: Take care not to deform the rear vent duct (E) while removing and storing the console.

  7. Install the console in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
