Fuel Pulsation Damper Replacement
- Relieve the fuel pressure (see FUEL PRESSURE RELIEVING
).
- Remove the charge air cooler (see
REMOVAL
).
- Remove the injector cover (see step 3 under INJECTOR REPLACEMENT
).
- Disconnect the connectors from the injectors, then remove the harness holder (see step 4 under INJECTOR REPLACEMENT
).
- Remove the fuel pulsation damper (A) from the fuel rail (B).

- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal with a new sealing washer (C).
