SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations (see COMPONENT LOCATION INDEX ), and the precautions and procedures (see PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES ) before doing repairs or service.

NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.
Lay a shop towel under the parts when working on them to protect the face panel from scratches or other damage.

Pull the audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel (A) out, then disconnect the connectors (B) from the audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel.

Remove the interface dial (see INTERFACE DIAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Install the switch panel in the reverse order of removal.
