REPAIR PROCEDURE

NOTE:
  • This problem affects the five-digit audio anti-theft code only. If the client complains about having to enter both the five-digit audio anti-theft code and the four-digit navigation anti-theft code or just the navigation anti-theft code, this bulletin does not apply. It is more likely a battery-related issue. Continue with normal troubleshooting procedures.
  • This problem tends to occur in rural areas with fewer radio stations. Ask the client where the vehicle was being driven when the problem occurred.

Replace the audio unit.
