SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Symptom Diagnostic procedure Also check for
AcuraLink services do not work Symptom Troubleshooting (see SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING )
  • Blown fuse No 15 (10 A) in the under-hood fuse/relay box and No 12 (7 5 A), No 18 (7 5 A) in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box
  • Poor ground at G501
AcuraLink services do not work after replacing the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver)  
  • Call Acura Client Services and request an activation
  • Call XM customer service and register the replacement AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver)
AcuraLink messages cannot be heard or are weak Symptom Troubleshooting (see ACURALINK MESSAGES CANNOT BE HEARD OR ARE WEAK )  
Traffic or Weather information is not shown on map screen Navigation System Symptom Troubleshooting (see TRAFFIC OR WEATHER INFORMATION IS NOT SHOWN ON MAP SCREEN )
