DTC 1701: Rear Camera Error; DTC 2608: Rear Camera Diag

NOTE:
- These navigation DTCs sets when a mechanical malfunction in the navigation display is detected. set when a communication error between the rearview camera and the navigation display unit (open or short) is detected.
- Check the vehicle battery condition first (see BATTERY TEST )
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the general troubleshooting information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION )
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode, then back to ON (II), or the ON mode
- Go into the Diagnostic Menu, and select the Self-Diagnosis Mode in the Select Diagnosis Items menu (see SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC MODE )
- Check the System Links
Is the Rear camera icon red?
YES -Go to step 4
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time
- Check for poor connection or loose terminal at the rearview camera 12P connector
Are the connections OK?
YES -Go to step 5
NO -Repair poor connection or loose terminal
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode
- Disconnect rearview camera 12P connector
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode
- Measure the voltage between rearview camera 12P connector terminal No 7 and body ground

Is there about 3.0 V?
YES -Replace the rearview camera (see Rearview Camera Removal/Installation )
NO -Go to step 9

Is there about 3.0 V?
YES -Repair open in the wire between the navigation display unit and the rearview camera
NO -Replace the navigation display unit (see NAVIGATION DISPLAY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
