System Check
If a System Check result is indicated on the HDS display, troubleshoot the appropriate items in the table. If there is no Status Check result, go to STATUS LOG .
POSSIBLE CAUSE CHART

| A-2 | Intermittent failure of the key | Check with another known-good key. If the symptom still occurs, replace the immobilizer control unit-receiver. |

| B-1 | PCM is replaced. | Register the PCM. |
| Communication line error between the immobilizer control unit-receiver and PCM caused by electrical noise | Check for an open or short in the IMOCD (S-NET) line, and check for poor and loose connections. | |
| B-2 | PCM is not registered correctly. | Register the PCM. |
| Communication line error between the immobilizer control unit-receiver and PCM caused electrical noise | Check for an open or a short in the wire (IMOCD (S-NET)), and check for poor and loose connections. | |
| D-1 | IMOCD (S-NET) line short | Check for a short in the wire (IMOCD (S-NET)). |
