Main Valve Body Disassembly, Inspection, and Reassembly
- Clean all parts thoroughly in solvent, and dry them with compressed air. Blowout all passages.
- Inspect the main valve body for scoring and damage.
- Check all valves for free movement. If any fail to slide freely, refer to the valve body repair (see VALVE BODY REPAIR ).
- Coat all parts with ATF during assembly.
- Replace the filter with a new one, and install it and the lubrication check valve in the direction shown.
