DTC B1675: Ignition Switch Control Unit (ROTATE SW) Circuit Open
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Insert the built-in key into the ignition switch.
- Turn the ignition switch ON (II) and OFF ten times using the built-in key.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1675 indicated?
YES - Go to step 6.
NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections at the keyless access control unit and at the ignition switch control unit.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect keyless access control unit connector A (31P).
- Disconnect the ignition switch control unit 10P connector.
- Check for continuity between keyless access control unit connector A (31P) terminal No. 3 and ignition switch control unit 10P connector terminal No. 8.Fig 1: Checking Continuity Between Terminal No. 3 And Ignition Switch Control Unit 10P Connector Terminal No. 8

Is there continuity?
YES - Go to step 10.
NO - Repair an open in the wire.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ACC (I) position.
- Check for continuity between ignition switch control unit 10P connector terminals No. 8 and No. 6.Fig 2: Checking Continuity Between Ignition Switch Control Unit 10P Connector Terminals No. 8 And No. 6

Is there continuity?
YES - Replace the keyless access control unit.
NO - Replace the ignition switch control unit.
