| Cruise control cannot be set |
- Check for PGM-FI and body DTCs.
- Check the No. 13 (15A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box, and the No. 18 (15A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.
- Do the cruise control input test (see CRUISE CONTROL INPUT TEST
).
- Do the cruise control combination switch test (see CRUISE CONTROL COMBINATION SWITCH TEST/REPLACEMENT
).

| Cruise control can be set, but the cruise main indicator does not come on |
- Check for PGM-FI and body DTCs.
- Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function procedure (see
SELF-DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION
).
- Do the cruise control input test (see CRUISE CONTROL INPUT TEST
). Test the cruise control main switch signal input.

).
- Do the cruise control input test (see CRUISE CONTROL INPUT TEST
). Test the cruise control resume/accel switch signal input. Test the brake pedal position switch signal input.
