Power Mirror Control Unit Input Test
- Remove the driver's dashboard undercover (see DRIVER'S DASHBOARD UNDERCOVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Disconnect the 24P connector (A) from the power mirror control unit (B).
- Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.
- If the terminals are bent, loose or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system.
- If the terminals look OK, go to step 4.
- Reconnect the 24P connector to the control unit, and make these input tests at the connector.
- If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
- If all the input tests prove OK, go to step 5.

(1) '07 model (2) '08 -09 models - Check the PCM DTCs. If there is no DTC, jump the SCS line with the HDS, then disconnect PCM connector A (44P) ('07 model), the power seat control unit 40P connector ('08 model), and the power mirror control unit 24P connector.
- Make these input tests at the connector.
- If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
- If all the input tests prove OK, the control unit must be faulty; replace the power mirror control unit.
