DVD Player Unit Removal/Installation

SRS component locations for the appropriate year:

'03 model (see 2003 MODEL )
'04-06 models (see 2004-2006 MODELS )

Also review the precautions and procedures (see PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES ) before performing repairs or service.

NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.

Remove the console panel and center lower cover (see CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Remove the cover (A) from the DVD player unit (B).

Remove the screws and pull out the DVD player unit.
Disconnect the 26P and 8P connectors (or 22P connector)*.(C) from the DVD player unit.
* : '05-06 models
Remove the four mounting screws, then remove the bracket.

Install in the reverse order of removal, and make sure the DVD player unit connectors are plugged in properly.
