Malfunction Threshold

A malfunction is detected if these three conditions are present after the engine and the ignition switch have been off for at least 6 hours:

• When the temperature difference between the IAT and ECT1 is 49°F (27°C) or more.
• When the temperature difference between the IAT and ECT2 is 24°F (13°C) or more.
• When the temperature difference between the ECT2 and ECT1 is 64°F (36°C) or more.
