DTC B1805: Power Seat Control Unit Lost Communication with Gauge Control Module (VSP/NE signal)
NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN system diagnosis test mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1805 indicated?
- YES - Go to step 4.
- NO - Check for poor connections. If OK, check battery condition and charging system.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B1011, B1060, and B1706 indicated?
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Do the POWER SEAT CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST
).
Is the input test OK?
- YES - Faulty power seat control unit.
- NO - Refer to the POWER SEAT CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST and correct the cause.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Do the GAUGE CONTROL MODULE INPUT TEST
).
Is the input test OK?
- YES - Faulty gauge control module.
- NO - Refer to the gauge control module input test and correct the cause.
