Starter Removal and Installation: Installation

Install the starter, then connect the starter cable (A) to the B terminal, and connect the BLK/WHT wire (B) to the starter solenoid S terminal. Make sure the crimped side of the ring terminal faces away from the starter when you connect it.

'06-08 models

Install the harness holder (C) and the harness clamp (D).
Install the intake manifold, '04-05 models (see INSTALLATION ('04-05 MODELS) ), '06-08 models (see INSTALLATION ('06-08 MODELS) ).
Connect the negative cable to the battery.
Start the engine to make sure the starter works properly.
Enter the anti-theft codes for the audio system and the navigation system (if equipped), then enter the audio presets. Set the clock (on vehicles without navigation).
