DTC B1144: Abnormal Signal from Keyless Receiver Unit

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN system diagnosis test mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A ).

Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
Turn the ignition switch OFF and remove the ignition key from the key cylinder.
Using the keyless transmitter, press the LOCK/ UNLOCK, TRUNK and PANIC buttons several times.
Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1144 indicated?
1. YES - Go to step 6.
2. NO - The system is OK at this time.
Do the keyless receiver unit input test (see KEYLESS RECEIVER UNIT INPUT TEST ).
Is the input test OK?
1. YES - Substitute a known-good keyless receiver unit, and recheck. If DTC is gone, the original keyless receiver unit is faulty; replace it. If the DTC B1144 is still indicated, replace the door multiplex control unit.
2. NO - Refer to the KEYLESS RECEIVER UNIT INPUT TEST and correct the cause.
