DTC P1128: MAP Sensor Circuit Lower Than Expected (2002-2004 models)

  1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
  2. Check the MAP with a scan tool or the HDS.

    Is 54.1 kPa (16.0 in.Hg, 406 mmHg), 1.6 V or higher indicated? 

    1. YES -  Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time.
    2. NO -  Replace the MAP sensor (see THROTTLE BODY DISASSEMBLY/REASSEMBLY ).
