Roll Rate Sensor Replacement: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, then wait for 3 minutes before starting work.
  2. Disconnect both side curtain airbag 2P connectors (see step  6 ).
  3. Remove the second row seat (see SECOND ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  4. Disconnect the floor wire harness 2P connector (A) from the roll rate sensor.

  5. Using a TORX T30 bit, remove the TORX bolt (B) then remove the roll rate sensor (C).
