Trunk Latch Switch Test

  1. Open the trunk lid.
  2. Disconnect the 6P connector from the trunk lid latch.

  3. Check for continuity between the No. 1 and No. 6 terminals and the No. 2 and No. 6 terminals.
    • With the trunk lid open, there should be continuity.
    • With the trunk lid closed, there should be no continuity.
  4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the trunk lid latch switch.
