Instrument Cluster Dimmer Switch

Remove instrument panel lower left instrument panel cover. Disconnect instrument cluster dimmer switch 6-pin connector. Using a DVOM, measure resistance between instrument cluster dimmer switch terminal No. 4 and terminal No. 5. See Fig 1. While rotating dimmer switch dial, resistance should be 0-20,000 ohms. If resistance is not as specified, replace dimmer switch.
