Seat Heater

Remove seat to be tested. See FRONT SEATS  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect seat heating element connectors. Using an ohmmeter, verify continuity between terminals. See TESTING SEAT HEATER CONTINUITY  table. See Fig 1 . Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist, replace seat heating element.

TESTING SEAT HEATER CONTINUITY

Seat Heater Connector Terminal No. (Wire Color)
All Seats 2 (BLK) & 4 (GRN/YEL); 3 (1) & 4 (GRN/YEL)
(1) On automatic transmission (both seats) and manual transmission (passenger's seat), terminal No. 3 wire color is White/Blue. On manual transmission (driver's seat), terminal No. 3 wire color is Green/Yellow.
