Passenger's Power Seat Switch Test

Remove passenger's power seat adjustment switch knob and recline cover. Remove passenger's power seat switch. Disconnect passenger's power seat switch 6-pin connectors. Using an ohmmeter, ensure switch continuity is as specified. See PASSENGER'S POWER SEAT SWITCH CONTINUITY  table. See Fig 1 . If switch fails test, replace faulty switch.

Position Continuity Between Terminals
Slide Switch
Forward A2 & B4; A4 & B3
Backward A2 & B3; A4 & B4
Recline Switch
Forward B1 & B6; B2 & B5
Backward B1 & B5; B2 & B6
