Removal & Installation

Variable Valve Timing Control (VTC) oil control solenoid valve is located at front of cylinder head.

  1. Disconnect 2-pin harness connector.
  2. Remove VTC oil control solenoid valve retaining bolt and remove valve.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure and use NEW O-ring. Tighten valve to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
