VTEC Solenoid valve

Disconnect connector from VTEC solenoid valve. Measure resistance between ground and VTEC solenoid valve connector terminal. If 14-30 ohms is present, removed VTEC solenoid valve/oil filter assembly from oil pump. Check VTEC solenoid valve filter for clogging. If clogged, replace VTEC solenoid valve filter, oil filter and engine oil. If filter is not clogged, push VTEC solenoid valve with your finger and check its movement. If VTEC solenoid valve is normal, check engine oil pressure.
