Control Unit Input

NOTE: Several different wires have the same color. They have been given a number suffix to distinguish them (for example YEL/GRN and YEL/GRN2 are not the same).
  1. Remove the glove box to disconnect the 22-P connector and 16-P connector from the control unit.
  2. Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.
  3. If the terminals are bent, loose or corroded, repair them as necessary. Recheck the system.
  4. If the terminals look okay, perform input tests at the connector. See Fig 1 -Fig 3 .
  5. If any tests indicate a problem, find and correct the cause. Recheck the system.
  6. If all input tests are okay, the control unit must be faulty. Replace the control unit.
