Control Unit Input
NOTE:
Several different wires have the same color. They have been given a number suffix to distinguish them (for example YEL/GRN and YEL/GRN2 are not the same).
- Remove the glove box to disconnect the 22-P connector and 16-P connector from the control unit.
- Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.
- If the terminals are bent, loose or corroded, repair them as necessary. Recheck the system.
- If the terminals look okay, perform input tests at the connector. See Fig 1 -Fig 3 .
- If any tests indicate a problem, find and correct the cause. Recheck the system.
- If all input tests are okay, the control unit must be faulty. Replace the control unit.
