Charge System Light Test: Notes

NOTE: Before testing, check wire harness connection, alternator belt tension, No. 2 (15 A) fuse in dash fuse box and No. 18 (20 A) fuse in main fuse box. See Figure.

Turn ignition switch on, with engine off. The charge system light should come on. If it does not come on, go to Charging System Light Does Not Come On . If charging system light is lit, go to Charging System Light Comes On .
