Driver's Power Seat Motor

CAUTION: Disconnect battery power immediately after motor stops running. If battery power is left connected, damage to motor may occur.

Remove driver's seat. See FRONT SEAT  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect each power seat motor. See Fig 1 . Apply battery voltage to each motor as specified in DRIVER'S POWER SEAT MOTOR  table. If any motor fails any portion of test, replace faulty motor.

DRIVER'S POWER SEAT MOTOR

Switch Position Connect Terminals To B+ & Ground
Slide Motor
Forward A1 & A2
Backward A2 & A1
Front Up-Down Motor
Up D1 & D2
Down D2 & D1
Rear Up-Down Motor
Up F1 & F2
Down F2 & F1
Recline Motor
Forward C3 & C4
Backward C4 & C3
