Trouble Shooting

  1. Ensure fuses No. 13 (7.5-amp), No. 17 (7.5-amp), No. 44 (20-amp) and No. 56 (7.5-amp) are okay. Fuse No. 13 (7.5-amp) and No. 17 (7.5-amp) are located in underdash fuse/relay box. Fuse No. 44 (20-amp) and No. 56 (7.5-amp) are located in underhood fuse/relay box. If fuse(s) are not okay, locate and repair cause of blown fuse. If fuse(s) are okay, go to appropriate multiplex control unit test under SYSTEM TESTS  . Repair as necessary. Go to next step.
  2. If multiplex control units are okay, check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTICS. Repair as necessary. If DTCs are not indicated, go to SLEEP & WAKE-UP FUNCTION  under SYSTEM TESTS. Repair as necessary. If sleep and wake-up function is okay, go to SELF-DIAGNOSTIC MODE 2  under SYSTEM TESTS.
