Ambient Temperature Indicator

If indicator displays 888.8 for more than 2 seconds after selecting ambient temperature display mode, check for open in Brown/White wire between instrument cluster 30-pin connector "A" terminal No. 19 and ambient temperature sensor. See Figure. If circuit is okay, test sensor. See AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR . If sensor tests okay, replace instrument cluster.
