Shift Cable: Removal/Installation

WARNING: Make sure lifts are placed properly (see LIFT AND SUPPORT POINTS ).

Remove the front console (see CONSOLES AND BEVERAGE HOLDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Shift to [N] position, then remove the lock pin from the adjuster.

Remove the shift cable bracket.

Remove the shift cable holder.
Remove the shift cable cover.
Remove the control lever from the control shaft, then remove the shift cable. Take care not to bend the cable when removing/installing it.

Install the shift cable in the reverse order of removal.
Check the cable adjustment on reassembly.
