Parking Pin Switch Test

Remove the front console (see CONSOLES AND BEVERAGE HOLDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Shift to [P] position.
Disconnect the parking pin switch 4P connector.
Check for continuity between the No. 3 and No. 4 terminals.
There should be continuity while pushing the push button.

There should be no continuity when the push button is released.

If necessary, replace the parking pin switch.
NOTE: The parking pin switch is assembled with the position plate. If parking pin switch replacement is required, refer to SHIFT LEVER .
