Steering Angle Sensor

  1. Start engine. Push TCS ON/OFF switch 3 times within 3 seconds. At a rate of about one turn in 4 seconds, slowly turn steering wheel clockwise more than 1.5 turns. Push TCS ON/OFF switch 2 times within 3 seconds.
  2. At the same rate, turn steering wheel counterclockwise the same number of turns completed in step  1. After steering wheel has moved about one turn, start counting TCS indicator light flashes. TCS indicator light should flash 3 times. If TCS indicator light does not flash as specified, see DTC 2-1: STEERING ANGLE SENSOR  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
